Bioinformatics provides the computational support for functional genomics which will link the behavior of cells, organism amd population to the information encoded in the genomes, as well as structural genomics. An overview of the main architectures of DNNs, and their usefulness in Pharmacology and Bioinformatics are presented in this work. The featured applications are: drug design, virtual screening (VS), Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) research, protein structure prediction and genomics (and other omics) data mining. Bioinformatics has enabled scientists to make biological tools which extract this information from the databases and can be used for the research purpose. Bioinformatics tools can be used for three purposes. 1) Protein sequence can be determined by DNA sequencing.
